MLLP reporting back from Interspeech 2016 and CHiME 4

MLLP researcher Miguel Á. del Agua Teba has been at Interspeech 2016 in San Francisco (8–12 September) to present his article on “ASR Confidence Estimation with Speaker-Adapted Recurrent Neural Networks”, and to present the MLLP’s submission to the CHiME 4 Speech Separation and Recognition Challenge (13 September). Here are his impressions after an intense conference.

Release of the open source transLectures-UPV Platform (TLP) version 3.2

The MLLP has released version 3.2 of the transLectures-UPV Platform (TLP) for the management of automated transcription and translation technologies in MOOC and media repositories. This new version refines and consolidates TLP’s features for the management of multilingual media subtitling, text-to-speech synthesis, text document translation, and multilingual website translation.
