The MLLP’s Joan Albert Silvestre is in Lisbon, participating in IberSPEECH 2016, one of the main international conferences in Portugal and Spain on speech and language processing and recognition, with his paper “Different Contributions to Cost-Effective Transcription and Translation of Video Lectures”.
Under this agreement, signed on October 2016, the MLLP research group will provide automatic transcription and translation services for the Jožef Stefan Institute’s award-winning VideoLectures.NET free and open access educational video lecture repository.
The MLLP has released version 3.2 of the transLectures-UPV Platform (TLP) for the management of automated transcription and translation technologies in MOOC and media repositories. This new version refines and consolidates TLP’s features for the management of multilingual media subtitling, text-to-speech synthesis, text document translation, and multilingual website translation.
Multilingual website translation is the main new feature added in version 3.1 of the open source transLectures-UPV Platform (TLP) for the integration of automated transcription and translation technologies into media repositories, just released by the MLLP research group. You can watch here our new video demonstration to see how it works.
